Thank you for your interest in working at Camp Caribou!  We offer instruction in a wide variety of land, water sports, and the arts to boys aged 7-15. We are currently seeking athletic coaches, wilderness trip leaders, and art instructors for the upcoming 2023 summer.  Throughout the season, staff members will have the opportunity to gain experience working with children, become a head coach of a specific sport, and develop relationships that will last a lifetime!  If you are passionate and enthusiastic about the outdoors, sports, the arts, and working with the youth, this will be the best summer internship and job you’ll ever have!

Current – Full Time Opportunities:

Assistant Camp Director, Camp Caribou for Boys (Winslow, ME): The Assistant Camp Director
will help manage the daily operations of Camp Caribou for Boys. Will oversee camp programs
and activities. Will manage camp policies and procedures. Will evaluate, interview, and recruit
new staff. Will train and evaluate staff. Will develop and supervise staff schedules for programs
and activities. Will manage and communicate with potential new families and assist in the sales
and promotion process. Will liaise with parents and caregivers of campers. Will develop,
introduce, and maintain new systems to improve and enhance various aspects of staff, campers,
and estate management. Will identify program needs and work to provide solutions to problems.
Will live on Camp Caribou grounds year-round. Minimum requirements: 2 years’ experience
directing youth programs or camps in a residential setting. Special requirements: Valid First Aid,
